Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Senior Representative - Outside Sales in the Carol Stream, IL area to develop new prospects and manage assigned accounts. You will engage with multiple levels of customer organizations, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and drive revenue growth with a focus on margin improvement.

The role requires 3–5 years of outside sales experience, a valid license, and the ability to travel 50%–75%.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years outside sales experience
• 4 years industry experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record
• Ability to travel to clients and suppliers (50%–75%)
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Strong presentations and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Qualify accounts by market potential and provide territory forecasts.
• Execute and expand assigned customer account plans with management.
• Drive billing margin initiatives through value-added services and supplier engagement.
• Prospect new customers and generate leads through referrals.
• Identify customer needs and propose products or solutions.
• Demonstrate product value and ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and alert them to new offerings.
• Develop sales plans to grow accounts and track progress.
