Job summary

NextGear, a Cox Automotive Brand, is hiring a Senior Field Sales Representative/Senior Client Solutions Executive to cover the LA South area. This full-time outside sales role requires a structured approach to developing new business in a defined territory with a strong focus on new applications and activations.

The role includes a base salary in the posted range with a targeted annual incentive of $45,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field.
• The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• 5 years of outside sales and portfolio management experience preferred.
• 3+ years experience in finance or auto industry preferred.
• Sales management skills (develop leads, contract customers, portfolio growth) preferred.
• Must be comfortable in a high-pressure, results-driven, fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to learn company operating and reporting systems plus Microsoft Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on NextGear Capital products including inventory financing and ancillary products.
• Develop an aggressive sales plan within a defined market.
• Build a prospect list through cold calling, lead follow-up, and referrals.
• Conduct weekly cold calls to solicit new relationships for NextGear Capital.
• Follow up daily on leads with a sense of urgency.
• Increase loan volume and utilization through service calls to existing customers.
• Visit assigned dealers to re-engage and increase LOC utilization.
• Hit target levels of performance in new applications, loan development, and new business monthly.
• Underwrite potential NextGear Capital customers prior to accepting an application.
• Monitor applications during the credit process.
• Contract and orient new customers.
• Manage customer experience during the dealer lifecycle first six months.
• Hit targets in enrollments and sales of NextGear Capital services.
• Develop relationships with Portfolio Managers.
• Conduct monthly non-sale visits with auction General Managers.
• Expand NextGear’s business at auctions by engaging staff and customers.
