Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Safety & Health professional to coordinate field safety activities on large-scale projects. The role requires ensuring adherence to safety policies, conducting daily safety briefings, and leading the development of job safety analyses.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of construction safety management, working knowledge of OSHA regulations, and CSP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related field preferred.
• CSP certification preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant construction safety management experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all safety activities in the field.
• Ensure all training/orientation, safety, and health policies are followed by site workers.
• Attend daily kick off meetings to communicate key safety messages.
• Facilitate the safety audit process.
• Identify injury/incident potential indicators and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate general shutdown rescue/emergency services.
• Develop confined space rescue plans.
• Lead all JSA development.
• Inform EHS Manager of incidents promptly.
• Recommend work stoppage for safety reasons.
• Manage Area Safety Teams as designated.
• Provide EHS data/input for daily communications.
• Oversee safety orientation and training for contractors during shutdowns.
