Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification is required.
• Current CPR/AED certification is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years in a safety role with contractor oversight.
• Experience with ePTW, lift planning, rigging inspections, and LOTO/LOTOTO programs.
• Ability to read and apply engineering drawings and construction docs; identify safety risks.

Responsibilities

• Provide documented pre-shift safety briefings with the project team to review hazards.
• Perform shift handoffs to communicate safety focus areas across shifts.
• Inspect work areas for regulatory compliance and hazard identification.
• Issue, approve, and close Permits to Work, risk predictions, and inspections.
• Deliver safety training and update safety procedures as required.
