Job summary

Hargrove is seeking an experienced EHS professional to coordinate safety during shutdowns and manage contractor safety on construction sites. The role requires leading JSA development, ensuring policy adherence, and conducting ongoing safety communications.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of construction safety management experience, OSHA knowledge, and strong leadership with attention to detail. A CSP is preferred and MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Public Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant construction safety management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all safety activities in the field.
• Ensure training/orientation, safety, and health policies are followed by site workers.
• Attend daily kick-off meetings to communicate key safety messages.
• Facilitate the safety audit process.
• Identify injury/incident indicators and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate general shutdown rescue/emergency services.
• Develop and communicate confined space rescue plans.
• Lead all JSA development.
• Inform EHS Manager of incidents promptly.
• Coordinate site orientation and onboarding for contractors before shutdown.
• Oversee safety documentation for contractors and proper training.
• Manage Area Safety Teams and ensure park procedures are followed.
• Provide EHS data/input for daily communications.
