This remote, full-time role requires advanced investigation, evaluation, and negotiation skills, with travel on short notice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with claim handling.
• Must have state adjuster licenses and continuing education credits.
• Strong knowledge of local geography, regulations, and public safety agencies.
• Ability to travel and work on-site as needed.
• Experience with litigation processes and regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage field property claims, including CAT and outside investigations.
• Identify opportunities to transfer risk for insureds and partners.
• Maintain detailed claim records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Set reserves, authorize payments within authority.
• Collaborate with legal, underwriting, vendors, and agents; mentor junior adjusters.
• Deliver empathetic, clear communication and educate claimants.
• Travel as necessary; work on-site as needed.
