Job summary

Matrix PDM Engineering in Houston, TX is seeking a Field Project Engineer III to oversee the design and project management team for major projects. You will monitor and coordinate technical deliverables, support discipline engineering, and manage basic engineering including system layout, PFDs, and major equipment specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management or related discipline.
• 5+ years of heavy industrial field engineering or project engineering experience.
• Experience in chemical plants, liquid terminals, LNG or related industries.
• Understanding of industrial construction processes, structures and tech.
• Willingness to travel to North American construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and project management team for the Business Unit.
• Monitor and coordinate technical deliverables and basic engineering.
• Serve as primary client technical contact on major projects.
• Ensure work follows manuals, procedures, and contract documents.
• Support project managers with cost/change controls and schedules.
