Job summary

Carvana in Tempe, AZ is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead high-priority initiatives across cross-functional teams. You will define scope, schedules, and success metrics, manage resources and budgets, and drive data-driven decisions to improve operations.

You’ll partner with HR, IT, construction, engineering, procurement, and operations; require a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience; travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 5+ years in Project Management, operations, business analytics, or related role.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams through Initiation, Design, Planning, Execution and Close phases.
• Ability to communicate project vision across HR, IT/technology, construction, engineering, procurement, operations.
• Proficiency in structuring root cause analysis, KPIs, and data-driven operational solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple high-priority initiatives and projects with cross-functional stakeholders to meet goals.
• Build relationships and work across internal and external partners to support initiatives.
• Perform full-cycle project management: define goal, scope, deliverables, resources, budget and timeline.
• Leverage data to measure success, assess performance, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
• Coach teams on project management methodologies and data-driven decision making.
