Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager to lead field operations on active projects nationwide. This on-site role requires coordinating safety, quality, schedules, and subcontractor activity from startup through closeout.

You will mentor on-site teams, manage budgets and procurement, review drawings, and report progress to the PM team while upholding Gray’s core values and safety program.

Qualifications

• 10+ years related construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Experience leading on-site project teams and managing subcontractors.
• Travel required to project sites across USA.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of field activities from start up to completion, incl. safety, quality, schedule, logistics, and subcontractor coordination.
• Maintain and track project schedule; produce short-term lookahead and report to PM/Scheduler.
• Provide real-time schedule data to PM/Scheduler; support schedule maintenance.
• Ensure site safety compliance; coach subcontractors on safety and policy.
• Train team on Gray software (CMO, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Concur, E-Time, GoGray).
• Lead meetings to coordinate subcontractors and project team; monitor progress against plan.
