Job summary

Gray Construction in Boise, Idaho seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead field operations on large-scale projects. You will oversee safety, quality, schedule, and on-site logistics while coordinating with the project team, subcontractors and suppliers to keep work on track.

You must have 10+ years of construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read drawings and manage budgets. The role requires mentoring team members, conducting meetings, and enforcing Gray safety policies

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years construction experience.
  • Experience leading field activities and coordinating design, project, and schedule.
  • Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings and financial reports.
  • Strong people management and leadership abilities.
  • Proficient with construction software tools and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own field activities from start-up to project completion, including safety, quality, and logistics.
  • Maintain and track the project schedule with a 2-3 week lookahead and use it to manage on-time delivery.
  • Provide real-time data to PM/Scheduler for schedule maintenance.
  • Ensure site safety requirements are met and coach subcontractors on safety.
  • Lead meetings to coordinate subcontractor activities and align with the project schedule.
  • Mentor and train team members on Gray processes and tools.
  • Support buyout and procurement planning to meet the schedule.
