Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager to lead field operations on our projects across manufacturing, food & beverage, distribution, and mission critical sectors. This field/project based role requires on-site leadership of the crew, safety compliance, planning, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.

You will own the project from startup to closeout, train team members on Gray software, review drawings, manage budgets and progress reports, and travel to project sites nationwide as

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years construction field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and contracts.
• Leadership and on-site management experience.
• Willingness to travel across the U.S.
• Visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Own field activities from startup to completion, including safety, quality, schedule.
• Maintain and track project schedule; create 2-3 week lookahead.
• Provide real-time data to PM/Scheduler for updates.
• Lead on-site management team and subcontractor coordination.
• Manage site safety culture and enforce policies.
• Prepare monthly progress and budget-related reports.
• Coordinate buyout of subcontracts and procurement schedule.
• Mentor and develop team members.
