Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs seeks a seasoned network professional in Denver, CO to manage and troubleshoot complex network systems across L1-L3, including switching, routing, and transport. A valid Colorado driver's license and flexibility for shifts, including on-call rotations, are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires AS/AAS/BS in related field, related certifications, or equivalent experience.
• 6-8 years of network management/ field operations with switching/routing, transport, and data on layer 1-3 equipment/software.
• Solid understanding of OSI model, T1-OC192, PRI circuits and related equipment, Microwave, Wireless networks, satellites, cable management, power and grounding.
• Willingness to work diverse schedules, including on-call rotation.
• Must have valid Colorado driver's license and be willing to travel regionally with overnight stays.
• Experience with documenting changes via work-ticket systems; familiarity with Motorola RF networks and high-density dispatch centers is a plus.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform in confined spaces; adherence to safety procedures.
