Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field construction on hyperscale data center projects. You will direct field teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence across large-scale infrastructure assignments.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of construction leadership, OSHA 30, and strong scheduling/coordination skills. Travel is approximately 75% with long onsite engagements across North America.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training required.
• 5-7 years of relevant construction experience on large-scale projects.
• Experience supervising Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen, subcontractors, and field crews.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, workforce planning, and field productivity.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel approximately 75% and support long-term onsite assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead field construction activities across mission-critical, hyperscale projects.
• Supervise and coordinate Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen, and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project specs and schedules.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor resources for efficient execution.
• Monitor productivity, project progress, and workforce performance while maintaining profitability.
• Support project teams in bid reviews, constructability reviews, estimating feedback, and planning.
• Lead jobsite coordination meetings, field planning sessions, and safety discussions.
• Promote continuous improvement in safety, productivity, quality and operational excellence.
