Job summary
Christy Media Solutions is seeking Field Engineers to join our US team delivering hands-on installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support in mission-critical IT/AV environments. You will work across broadcast, defence, oil & gas, utilities and transportation sectors, supporting customers on-site and remotely as needed.
The role requires strong technical aptitude in IT/AV hardware, networking, and customer service, with extensive travel (50–75%). U.S.
Qualifications
- Experience within a technical customer support, hardware, AV, or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including LAN, TCP/IP, and DHCP.
- Experience working with Windows systems and applications.
- Ability to travel extensively (50–75%).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/hold a valid pass.
- Video over IP or network streaming protocols.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure systems and equipment.
- Provide technical support via phone, email, remote access, and onsite visits.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform maintenance activities.
- Assist with system staging and configuration.
- Assist with technical documentation and reporting.
- Support inventory management and technical demonstrations.
