Job summary

Network Cabling Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced AV Field Engineer to install, configure, commission, troubleshoot, and support commercial AV systems across corporate, healthcare, education, hospitality, government, and data center environments.

The role collaborates with project managers, lead technicians, programmers, and customers to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial AV installation, integration, or field engineering experience.
• Experience installing and commissioning commercial audiovisual systems.
• Strong understanding of AV signal flow, audio systems, video distribution, and AV-over-IP technologies.
• Experience with networked AV devices, DSP programming adjustments, and matrix switchers.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel to project sites throughout Texas as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, commission, and troubleshoot commercial AV systems.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and floor plans to support installations.
• Configure AV control systems, DSPs, network switches, and AV-over-IP devices.
• Test and verify complete system functionality prior to turnover.
• Provide technical support during system startup and customer acceptance testing.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and customers during execution.
• Complete project documentation and service reports.
