Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Senior Field Engineer in Dallas to coordinate and execute moderately complex field engineering activities in alignment with project goals and quality standards. Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification; required within 6 months of hire; First Aid and CPR certification required; ASHE, CHC, or relevant market certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports coordination and execution of moderately complex field engineering activities to ensure technical solutions align with project goals and quality standards.
• Facilitates collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize construction processes.
• Conducts detailed site inspections and assessments independently, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Supports the preparation and validation of technical documentation, including daily progress reports and as-built records.
• Drives process improvements by analyzing field operations and recommending innovative methods or technologies to enhance efficiency and quality, including prefabrication opportunities.
• Communicates technical updates to project leadership and stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
• Supports less experienced team members in resolving moderately complex field engineering challenges and provides technical guidance on engineering standards and leading practices.
