Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to facilitate successful delivery of construction projects in Dallas, TX. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, review drawings, submittals, and change orders, and support schedule and cost controls to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4–6 years of construction engineering experience, with OSHA 30 certification preferred and expected within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Review moderately complex technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specs and quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve moderately complex technical challenges.
• Review and provide feedback on construction drawings, submittals, and change orders for accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Support project controls, including schedule tracking and cost monitoring, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Prepare and present progress reports and technical documentation for stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks through field analysis and engineering solutions.
• Mentor less experienced team members and provide technical expertise on safety and quality standards.
