Job summary

Automated Logic, a Carrier Company, is seeking a Master Field Engineer in Reno, NV to serve as the primary technical owner for turn-key project delivery. You will navigate complex building automation systems and mentor field teams while traveling as project priorities shift.

The role demands hands-on expertise, ASHRAE guidance, and the ability to own end-to-end installations from mobilization through commissioning, working onsite at client sites.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in the Building Automation or HVAC Controls industry.
• Hold a valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
• Lift items up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as squat and climb for extended periods.
• Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient in the use of ladders and motorized lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Own full execution of building automation installations from mobilization to commissioning.
• Install and deliver complex, high-risk systems as final technical authority.
• Ensure quality outcomes and accountability for the field team.
• Develop next-generation field leaders via mentorship and coaching.
• Assess and mitigate technical, schedule, and contractual risks across projects.
• Master ALC products, system architectures, and ASHRAE guidelines; ensure safe delivery.
• Travel as needed to support field demands.
