Job summary

Carrier (Automated Logic, a Carrier Company) is seeking a Field Engineer who will be the technical owner for turnkey project delivery, including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems. The role requires leadership to mentor junior techs and collaboration with Project Managers to align execution and delivery.

The position involves travel, deep proficiency with ALC products, and adherence to ASHRAE guidelines to deliver high‑quality, safe building automation solutions

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be insurable.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Capable of working up to 8 feet and using ladders/lift equipment.

Responsibilities

Own the install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems.
Lead and mentor junior technicians in the field.
Partner with Project Managers to manage risk and ensure reliable delivery.
Travel as needed and adapt to shifting project priorities.
Demonstrate deep proficiency with ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines.
Maintain expert documentation, including commissioning logs and progress tracking.
