Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Specialist Field Engineer - Compute Infrastructure to own the technical path for large customers from facility design to production-ready supercomputers. You will turn rack, GPU, and interconnect hardware into reliable compute for AI workloads at scale, collaborating with multiple engineering teams.

You will lead bring-up, validation, and performance benchmarking of HPC clusters, while shaping product direction and offering technical contract guidance.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in Solutions Architect, Field Engineer, Infra/Systems Engineer, or TAM in Cloud Infrastructure or HPC environments.
• Fluency in cloud concepts with hands-on cloud solutions experience.
• Proven ability to communicate complex tech to diverse audiences.
• Deep expertise with modern rack-scale GPU servers (NVIDIA HGX) and high-speed interconnects (InfiniBand, NVLink).
• Expert Linux administration and strong networking (TCP/IP, fabric topologies).
• Hands-on experience bringing up large GPU clusters and integrating with Kubernetes/Slurm.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for customers, ensuring success with CoreWeave’s cloud infrastructure.
• Own the technical path from facility design to a production-ready supercomputer.
• Lead bring-up and validation of large GPU clusters and fabric performance benchmarking.
• Define models for managing bare-metal fleets at rack level and above.
• Collaborate with Data Center Ops, Fleet Ops, and Networking to align readiness with go-live timelines.
• Review and advise on customer-facing technical contracts and SLAs.
• Lead PoC initiatives to demonstrate value of CoreWeave solutions.
• Contribute to product strategy and architecture discussions.
