Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Specialist Field Engineer - Compute Infrastructure to own the technical path for large customers from facility design to production-ready HPC systems.

You will bring up GPU clusters, validate InfiniBand/RoCE fabric, and work across engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable compute across data centers. The role blends field work with product input and customer collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years in Solutions Architect, Field Engineer, Infra/Cloud roles with HPC/cloud services experience.
• Fluency in cloud concepts and hands-on design of cloud solutions.
• Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Deep expertise with modern rack-scale GPU servers and high-speed interconnects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and ensure success with CoreWeave's cloud infrastructure.
• Own the technical path from facility design to production-ready supercomputer.
• Lead GPU cluster bring-up and acceptance, validate InfiniBand/RoCE fabric, and perform HPC benchmarks.
• Define models for managing bare-metal fleets and BMaaS patterns.
• Collaborate with Data Center Ops, Networking, and Product Eng to align readiness with go-live timelines.
• Lead technical discussions on contract terms, SLAs, and security boundaries.
• Prototype and drive R&D for emerging products and solutions.
