Job summary

CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI™, seeks a Specialist Field Engineer in Sunnyvale to lead customer engagements around Kubernetes workloads and specialized compute. You’ll establish relationships, prototype solutions, and guide customers from onboarding to optimization across their lifecycle.

You will drive technical leadership in customer meetings, contribute to product strategy, and stay ahead on Kubernetes security and cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, engineering, research or technical account management in cloud infrastructure focusing on distributed systems or HPC/cloud services, with Kubernetes security expertise.
• Fluency in cloud computing concepts, architecture, and hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions.
• Proven track record building customer relationships and communicating complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiar with NVIDIA GPUs used in AI/ML applications and related networking technologies.
• Deep understanding of administering Kubernetes clusters, including RBAC, admission controllers, container security, etc.
• Proven experience describing security concepts clearly and knowledge of Kubernetes security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, establishing strong technical relationships and ensuring success with CoreWeave’s cloud infrastructure, focusing on securing Kubernetes workloads.
• Collaborate with customers to understand business needs and prototype, deploy tailored solutions.
• Lead proofs of concept to demonstrate value of CoreWeave solutions in specific environments.
• Provide technical leadership during meetings, presentations, and workshops.
• Contribute to product roadmap and architecture discussions with security and engineering teams.
• Conduct workload reviews and propose optimization opportunities.
