Job summary

SINGLE USE SUPPORT GMBH is seeking an experienced automation engineer to design and program PLC and HMI systems using Rockwell/Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms. You will develop control logic, operator interfaces, alarms, and interlocks, and you will commission systems with FAT at our Kufstein, Austria facility.

The role requires installing, starting up, and validating equipment at US customer sites and traveling 75-90%.

Qualifications

Technical education in automation engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering on the field.
Strong expertise in Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI systems; Siemens experience is an advantage.
Proven track record in commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and service support for automated equipment.

Responsibilities

Design and program PLC and HMI systems using Rockwell/Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.
Develop control logic, operator interfaces, alarms, and interlock concepts.
Commission automation systems and perform FAT at headquarters in Kufstein, Austria.
Install, start up, and validate equipment at customer sites across the United States.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation issues on-site and remotely.
Execute SAT and ensure compliance with GMP and safety requirements.
Create service documentation and maintain software and system records.
Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Quality teams.
