Job summary
Everpure is seeking a Forward-Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic customers for high-stakes Kubernetes storage deployments. You will design architectures, guide production rollouts, and convert field experiences into actionable product feedback.
This role centers on judgment, deep technical insight, and trusted advisor status within the customer’s platform team. You’ll work primarily in customer data centers, often in enterprise environments with complex hardware, storage fabrics, and
Qualifications
- 5+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering, or field/solutions engineering.
- Deep Kubernetes expertise with production experience.
- Strong enterprise storage and server hardware knowledge.
- Excellent technical writing and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and review Portworx architectures for complex on-prem deployments.
- Pressure-test designs against compute, storage fabric, hypervisor and network.
- Guide deployment decisions and ensure design soundness and tradeoffs.
- Produce runbooks and reference architectures for reusable IP.
- Upskill customer teams for post-handoff operations.
- Maintain relationships with customer platform leaders and engineers.
