Ziply Fiber is seeking a Senior Outside Plant (OSP) Engineer to lead fiber OSP projects from design validation to budget and schedule management. The role serves as SME for OSP facilities, including cable sizing, records, and ROW/easement permitting, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to deliver scalable network solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience, or 5+ years OSP experience.
• 5+ years in telecom outside plant project management or fiber design.
• 3+ years in ROW, easement, and permitting with authorities.
• Knowledge of OSP design, cable counts, and capacities.
• Valid driver's license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Proactive review of outside plant facilities for upgrades.
• Produce or review high-level and detailed design documents.
• Coordinate with peers to ensure proper project planning.
• Attend preconstruction meetings and prepare cost estimates.
• Maintain cable records and perform QA/QC audits.
• Manage permitting lifecycle with State, City, and County.
