Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Principal Consultant (Fiber Design Engineer) to lead hyperscale fiber infrastructure projects in the US. You will oversee design, deployment, testing, and remediation across complex data center environments.

You will function as a fiber SME, guiding engineers and technicians, reviewing specs, and ensuring standards compliance. Strong client-facing leadership and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on fiber infrastructure experience in hyperscale data centers.
• BICSI RCDD certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead fiber design, deployment, testing, and remediation for large-scale data centers.
• Review fiber drawings, BOMs, port maps, and test documentation for accuracy.
