Job summary

The Contractor Consultants in New Jersey is seeking a Procurement & Operations Manager to own the full FF&E procurement lifecycle, lead a cross-functional team, and drive the Transaction Fast Lane for high-end commercial interiors.

Reporting to the CEO, you will build strategic vendor partnerships, manage projects under $100K, and optimize procurement workflows to ensure on-time delivery and healthy margins across complex renovations.

Qualifications

5+ years in procurement, purchasing, or operations management.
2+ years managing direct reports or leading a corporate function.
Experience managing vendor relationships across 15+ concurrent projects.
Experience estimating, pricing, or managing project financials and margins.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Asana or Monday.com.
Strong communication with designers, field staff and external vendors.

Responsibilities

Direct the full procurement lifecycle for FF&E from selection to site delivery.
Develop a tiered vendor strategy balancing design quality with cost savings.
Manage end-to-end execution of projects under $100K by the Transaction Team.
Set product training for design staff to align specifications with vendor capabilities.
Improve procurement workflows and logistics to prevent delays.
Oversee facilities, benefits administration, and licensing compliance.
Mentor procurement and design staff to build independence.
