Job summary

Blue Castle Agency in Austin, TX is seeking a Procurement Manager to turn design intent into finished, installed spaces across its luxury multifamily, student housing, and mixed-use projects. You’ll own FF&E sourcing end to end—from vendor selection through freight, customs, and on-site installation—while building and leading a procurement team to deliver on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FF&E procurement, purchasing, or sourcing experience for interior design, hospitality, multifamily, or commercial projects.
• Hands-on experience managing freight, customs clearance, and delivery logistics for large-scale installations.
• Experience leading procurement teams, not just handling own orders.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple active projects and deadlines.
• Sharp attention to detail—delayed shipments can hold up moves.
• Experience supporting acquisitions assessments or renovation scoping is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, purchase, and manage FF&E for ground-up developments and renovation projects.
• Own the full procurement cycle: vendor selection, purchase orders, freight, customs, and on-site delivery/installation.
• Coordinate with design teams to turn design intent into real, installed spaces on schedule and on budget.
• Manage, train, and delegate across a procurement team, balancing hands-on execution with leadership.
• Support acquisitions assessments and renovation scope planning with procurement input on cost and timeline.
• Oversee creative art installation and styling programs for completed properties.
• Track purchase orders, lead times, and vendor performance across multiple projects.
• Troubleshoot shipping delays, damaged goods, and vendor issues to keep schedules on track.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships that support quality, pricing, and reliability across the portfolio.
