Job summary

HDR seeks an experienced Federal Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead complex water infrastructure programs for federal agencies nationwide. You will manage multidisciplinary teams from planning through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule and budget delivery while building and maintaining client relationships.

You’ll support business development, mentor staff, and uphold HDR’s employee-owned culture with a focus on quality, safety and compliance across critical projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 7 years related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• Ability to interact with various design teams and strong organizational, project management and communication skills.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of complex, multidisciplinary projects from planning and design through construction support and closeout.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects aligning with client objectives, budgets and schedules.
• Build and maintain relationships with federal and military clients as a trusted advisor.
• Support business development, including marketing, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate resources across disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project performance with HDR leadership to drive outcomes and maintain QA/QC.
