Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Federal Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead complex water infrastructure projects for federal agencies across the United States. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from planning through closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and strong client relationships.

You will also support business development and uphold HDR’s QA/QC standards while advancing the firm’s federal water practice and public infrastructure impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7 years related experience.
• 2 years project management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and oversee all phases of complex projects from planning to closeout.
• Manage multiple projects ensuring alignment with objectives, budget, and schedules.
• Build relationships with federal and military clients as a trusted advisor.
• Support business development, including proposals and contracts.
• Coordinate resources across disciplines for successful delivery.
• Monitor performance and drive successful outcomes with HDR leadership.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures meet project requirements.
