Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Federal Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead complex water infrastructure projects for federal agencies across the United States. You will direct multidisciplinary teams from planning through construction support, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and strong client engagement.

Responsibilities include business development support, QA/QC, staff development, and mentoring of junior PMs, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 7 years related experience in project management or similar roles.
• At least 2 years project management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all phases of complex, multidisciplinary projects from planning through closeout.
• Manage multiple projects, aligning with client objectives, budgets, and schedules.
• Build relationships with federal and military clients as a trusted advisor.
• Support business development, marketing efforts, and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate resources across disciplines to ensure successful delivery.
