Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Federal Programs Project Manager to lead design projects across multiple U.S. offices, including Arlington, VA and Virginia Beach. You will manage design processes, coordinate with engineers and architects, and deliver projects in various delivery frameworks while ensuring compliance with federal requirements.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in architecture or engineering, is a P.E. or RA, and can obtain aSecret clearance. Travel across CONUS/OCONUS is expected as required.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture or engineering, including USACE/NAVFAC/ AFCEC and/or DoW client agencies.
• PE or RA registration.
• 3 years+ of experience in Alternative Delivery projects.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a US Government issued Secret level Security Clearance.
• Understanding of federal DoW design-build frameworks and CPARS.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong negotiation, representation and liaison skills.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects, stakeholder interviews, existing conditions analysis and client meetings.
• Coordinate with engineers and planning staff for design program implementation.
• Deliver design projects in design-bid-build, Design-Build or Alternative Delivery.
• Lead development of construction documents for Federal projects.
• Conduct on-site observations and facility condition assessments.
• Review documents for design intent, coordination and compliance.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Support marketing responses to SF330s.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and company policies.
• Travel as required (CONUS/OCONUS).
