Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Federal Programs Project Manager to lead design efforts for U.S. federal agencies. You will coordinate with engineers, architects, and planning professionals to deliver high-quality design deliverables across multiple locations, including Tacoma, WA.

The role requires strong leadership and excellent client communication. Responsibilities include managing the design process, developing construction documents, conducting on-site assessments, and ensuring compliance with UFCs

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in architecture or engineering with DoW/USACE/NAVFAC/AFCEC experience.
• PE or RA registration.
• 3+ years in Alternative Delivery projects.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance.
• Knowledge of DoW/UFCs, codes and design standards.
• Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong negotiation, liaison and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects, conduct stakeholder interviews, analyze conditions, and present to clients.
• Manage design process and provide high-value technical expertise.
• Coordinate with disciplines for design and construction, conduct charrettes and reviews.
• Deliver design projects in DB, Design-Build or alternative delivery.
• Lead development of construction documents for federal projects.
• Perform on-site observations and facility condition assessments.
• Review documents for design intent and code compliance.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Support marketing in responses to RFQs (SF330).
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and company policies; handle additional duties as needed.
