Job summary

WSP USA is seeking Federal Programs Project Managers to work from multiple U.S. offices, including San Antonio, to lead design teams on federal projects and ensure compliance with DoW/UFC standards. The role involves coordination across disciplines, charrettes, and on-site reviews.

Responsibilities include delivering design documents, mentoring staff, and supporting marketing responses to RFQs, with travel across CONUS/OCONUS as needed. Citizenship and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture or engineering, including experience with USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC and/or DoW client agencies.
• PE or RA registration.
• 3+ years of experience in Alternative Delivery projects.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a US Government issued Secret level Security Clearance.
• Understanding of federal design-build frameworks and design standards (UFCs, UFGS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder liaison skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel across CONUS/OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects with stakeholder interviews, condense findings, and present to clients.
• Manage design process and provide high-value technical expertise.
• Coordinate with disciplines for design program implementation and conduct charrettes/workshops.
• Deliver design projects in design-bid-build, Design-Build, or Alternative Delivery frameworks.
• Lead development of construction documents for Federal projects.
• Perform on-site observations and facility condition assessments.
• Review documents for design intent and code compliance across disciplines.
• Mentor junior team members and support marketing responses to RFQs.
