Job summary

WSP USA is actively seeking an experienced Federal Programs Project Manager to lead design projects across multiple U.S. locations, including San Antonio, TX and Jacksonville, FL.

You will oversee design processes, coordinate with multi-discipline teams, and drive high-value technical work for federal programs. The role requires senior-level expertise in federal project delivery, stakeholder management, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture or engineering with USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC and/or DoW client agencies.
• PE or RA registration.
• 3+ years in Alternative Delivery projects.
• US Citizenship required for client/project access.
• Ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance.
• Knowledge of federal DoW design-build frameworks and CPARS.
• Familiarity with UFCs/UFGS codes and building standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong negotiation, liaison and communication skills.
• Ability to work within budget/schedule and deliver high-quality results.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects with team coordination and client presentations.
• Manage design processes and provide technical expertise.
• Coordinate with engineers and planners across disciplines.
• Deliver design projects in various delivery frameworks (DB, Design-Build, etc.).
• Lead development of construction documents for federal projects.
• Conduct site observations and facility assessments.
• Quality-check design outputs and address client comments.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Support proposals to Federal clients (SF330).
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and company policies.
