Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Principal Federal Compliance & Security Architect to lead the technical authority for our federal platform footprint. You will define technical vision, translate compliance directives into secure cloud architectures, and collaborate with executives, 3PAOs, and sponsors to achieve FedRAMP High and IL5 authorizations.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in security architecture, cloud engineering, or systems design.
5+ years leading federal compliance initiatives (FedRAMP Moderate/High, DoD IL5).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with C-level & federal officials.

Responsibilities

Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to establish architectural standards and design highly available federal platforms capable of FedRAMP High and DoD IL5 authorizations.
Evaluate complex architecture initiatives, perform governance reviews, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Establish strategic architectural principles and reusable design frameworks for compliant-by-default guidance.
Explore emerging technologies and cloud design patterns, balancing delivery velocity with federal compliance mandates.
