Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Principal Federal Compliance & Security Architect to lead the technical authority for our federal platform footprint. You will define the technical vision, bridge compliance with cloud engineering, and drive FedRAMP High/DoD IL5 authorizations while partnering with engineering to ensure secure, compliant products.

You will translate NIST/DoD requirements into scalable AWS GovCloud or Azure Government architectures, own SSPs, and guide executive audiences and 3PAOs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading federal compliance programs (FedRAMP IL5/High) and security architectures.
• Ability to translate NIST/DoD controls into scalable cloud designs and SSPs.
• Strong communication to executives, customers, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural standards and achieve FedRAMP High and IL5 authorizations.
• Govern architecture governance and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
• Develop reusable, compliant-by-default design frameworks.
• Author architecture specs, SSPs, and portfolio strategy documents.
