Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Principal Federal Compliance & Security Architect to lead the technical authority for our federal platform. You will define vision, drive architecture, and ensure compliance with FedRAMP High and IL5/DoD requirements across AWS GovCloud or Azure Government.

The role partners with Engineering and Product to standardize secure architectures, manage risk, and deliver compliant cloud solutions for executive stakeholders and 3PAOs.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of security architecture, cloud engineering, or systems design experience.
• 5+ years leading federal compliance initiatives (FedRAMP IL5/High).
• Hands-on in AWS GovCloud or equivalent federal environments.
• Strong communication with executives and federal officials.

Responsibilities

• Define technical vision for federal platform footprint and FedRAMP High/IL5 authorizations.
• Drive architectural governance and risk mitigation across platforms.
• Author SSPs, architecture specs, and portfolio strategy for executives.
