Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Analysis Engineer to join the engineering team in Wichita, KS or Mobile, AL.

You will perform FDT analyses on metallic aircraft parts, collaborating with design and static stress teams to develop high strength-to-weight structures. The role requires at least six years in static stress or FDT analysis, a BS in engineering, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical) required.
• Minimum six years in Static Stress and/or FDT analysis for airframes.
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to moderate FDT analyses to verify structural integrity.
• Collaborate with design and static stress teams on airframe structures.
• Document analyses for trade studies and sign-offs.
• Develop technical documents and presentations with minimal direction.
• Work independently to meet deadlines and deliverables.
