Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Solutions Associate in Alabama to deliver process solutions for facility services and operations. The role involves collaborating with technical experts to document systems, develop materials, and coordinate with the Solutions team.

Ideal candidates hold a technical degree with 8+ years in construction/MEPF, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, and can interpret design documents. A valid driver’s license and ASHRAE knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (engineering, construction, facilities management or related).
• 8+ years of experience with construction projects, MEPF coordination, commissioning, startup, facility maintenance and operations, or retro commissioning.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills are required.
• Detail-oriented and able to read and interpret design documents and submittals.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project is expected.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Working knowledge of ASHRAE standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Work with SMEs to develop process documentation per company guidelines.
• Create written and graphical materials to document systems and solutions.
• Coordinate with Solution staff to align on deliverables.
• Determine processes based on knowledge and input from design/engineering firms.
• Read and understand plans and specifications and translate into actionable steps.
• Research inputs from internal and external resources for process validation.
• Contribute to ongoing success of Hensel Phelps through process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
