Job Description

The Solutions Manager role is focused on providing technical solutions leadership and management for the delivery and implementation of facility management processes and solutions. Required Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or relevant experience, preferably in Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical or MEP Construction Management. Minimum of 6+ years' experience in professional services, construction, maintenance, and operations contracts. Possess strong written communications skills and be detail oriented. Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe cloud. Must possess a valid driver's license. Master's degree in technical / facility management related field preferred. Must be able to function as part of a high-performance team. Essential l Functions: Work with technical and management subject matter experts to prepare technical solutions, documentation, and management in accordance with company guidelines and philosophies. Develop technical solutions relating to facility management and support the documentation of systems and solutions. Act as team leader, coordinating, directing, and developing other members of the process staff. Determine processes based on knowledge, experience, and correspondence with design/engineering firms. Read and understand plans and specifications for major/complex projects. Researches and collects input from multiple internal and external resources. Understanding of multiple project types and analysis of past and future program performance with the ability to understand assumptions, risks, and opportunities. Utilize the full capabilities of software packages to improve production, quality, accuracy, and deliverables. Review project plan and schedule for all projects within region. Strong working knowledge of facilities operations and building systems. Ability to work collaboratively in mobile work environment. Software proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Project, Word, SharePoint). Strong project management skills. Ability to recognize, troubleshoot, document, and optimize facilities processes. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and interpret financial data relating to facilities. Understanding of the critical facility environment, including hospitals, airports, and data centers.   • Walking - The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, boxes, cabinets, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, phone, computer, and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and external stakeholders regarding a variety of topics related to office administration.
  • Constantly computes, analyzes, and conceptualizes mathematical calculations and formulas.
  • The person in this position regularly sits in a stationary position in front of a computer screen.
  • Constantly reads written communications and views mail submissions. Will also need to read blueprints and take/verify field measurements.
  • Climbing - Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding and ramps at various heights.
  • Balancing - Ability to maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling and to walk, stand or crouch.
  • Stooping - Bending the body downward and forward by the spine at the waist.
  • Visual acuity and ability to operate a vehicle as certified and appropriate.
  • Occasionally exposed to high and low temperatures.
  • Frequently exposed to noisy environments and outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
