Hensel Phelps is seeking a Safety Engineer to support the safety manager and project team on a full-time, on-site basis at our designated location in Montgomery, Alabama. The role focuses on enforcing safety policies, conducting audits, and assisting with inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree (Safety-related preferred), strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office, Prolog, Primavera, and AutoDesk tools.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree is preferred.
• Occupational Safety and Health degree suggested.

Responsibilities

• Support safety manager and project team in planing and implementing safety policies.
• Assist in accident investigations and reporting.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1 and regulations.
• Coordinate safety training and awareness courses for site staff.
