The Building People, LLC is seeking a Senior Facility Site Accessor to support a federal client at a secure campus in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will bring advanced mechanical engineering knowledge in MEP systems, facility condition assessments, energy assessments, BAS, and lifecycle management.

This role requires independent judgment and strong communication with management and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of relevant building construction/MEP experience.
• Experience supporting federal facility condition assessments, asset management, or capital-planning programs.
• Experience with CERL Sustainment Management System (SMS) and data-driven lifecycle planning.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate inventories and condition assessments of building/mechanical systems across facilities.
• Identify deficiencies and document narratives describing general condition.
• Recommend corrective actions with detail to support repairs, renewals, and cost estimates.
• Lead field surveys QA/QC and coordinate with management and project teams.
• Prepare facility assessment and energy audit reports, including non-standard energy assessments.
• Review BAS data for energy optimization and system performance.
