Job summary

The Building People is seeking a Senior Facility Site Accessor with an active Secret Clearance to support a federal client at a secure campus in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate is a seasoned mechanical engineer with expertise in building systems, facility condition assessments, energy assessments, BAS, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities include leading field surveys, coordinating with government stakeholders, and preparing assessment and energy reports while ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of building construction/MEP experience.
• Experience with federal facility condition assessments and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventories and condition assessments of building/MEP systems.
• Document deficiencies with clear narratives and recommended actions.
• Lead field surveys, data validation, and QA of reports.
• Review BAS for energy performance and data extraction.
• Prepare facility assessment and energy reports for stakeholders.
• Travel up to 50% to conduct surveys and coordinate projects.
