The Building People is seeking a Senior Facility Site Accessor with an active Secret Clearance to support a federal client at a secure campus in Washington, DC. The role focuses on evaluating building mechanical systems, facility condition assessments, energy assessments, BAS analysis, and lifecycle management, with emphasis on accuracy and independent judgment.

You will coordinate with management and multidisciplinary teams, prepare assessment reports, review cost data, and travel at least 50%

Formación

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years in building construction/MEP roles.
• Experience with federal facility condition assessments and lifecycle planning.
• Experience with CERL SMS/BUILDER and data management.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate inventories and condition assessments of building and infrastructure.
• Identify and document deficient conditions with narratives.
• Recommend corrective actions for identified deficiencies.
• Lead regular communications with management on schedules, progress, and risks.
• Prepare facility assessment and energy audit findings reports.
• Review live BAS data for energy assessments and optimization.
• Review cost estimates and document database changes.
• Apply facility asset management lifecycle principles.
• Stay current on MEP building trades.
• Prepare training materials and conduct sessions.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders and project teams.
• Travel 50% to support surveys.
