Job summary

Detay Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to drive new business in the facility management and commercial maintenance space.

The role emphasizes leveraging an existing book of business and contacting decision-makers across nationwide or regional accounts. You will identify opportunities, present services, negotiate opportunities, and convert prospects into long-term customers, while managing the sales pipeline and achieving targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience selling facility management, commercial maintenance, building services, or related services.
• Established book of business and network of industry contacts.
• Existing relationships with potential commercial customers.
• Demonstrated history of winning new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and develop qualified sales leads.
• Leverage your existing network to generate immediate opportunities.
• Build relationships with facility managers, property managers, and procurement teams.
• Identify companies with nationwide or regional facility maintenance requirements.
• Present and sell our facility management and maintenance solutions.
• Develop proposals and coordinate internally with operations and estimating teams.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through contract execution.
• Develop long‑term relationships with customers and identify opportunities to expand services.
