Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sr. to lead engineering operations and oversee technicians, vendors, and subcontractors within our buildings portfolio. The role focuses on maintenance, repairs, and operational reliability.

You will coordinate preventive maintenance, ensure compliance with codes and safety standards, inspect work, and drive proactive service strategies to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Review work orders and resolve complex issues.
• Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience.
• Formulate and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
• Inspect the work performed by staff members.
• Determine that work is complete, equipment is fully functional and client space is in prime working condition.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
