Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DOE Q security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering/technology and related experience; certification may be required.
• High level knowledge of HVAC, building automation, and facility utilities in office, shop, and lab facilities.
• Extensive facility management experience including maintenance, operations, and safety.
• Strong independent work and team leadership skills; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical and administrative oversight of LLNL facility activities and equipment.
• Maintain awareness of current and future facility infrastructure needs.
• Determine office-space needs and mitigate facility risks.
• Develop and implement safety and work control procedures and plans.
• Review and implement facility safety plans and project plans.
• Lead regular facility walkthroughs and close deficiencies.
• Coordinate with financial analysts on budgets and accruals.
• Mentor facility coordinators and craft personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
