Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Maintenance Tech to support operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial buildings and facilities.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting and a High School Diploma or GED. You will service HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and related equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including packaging and handling machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, grounds equipment, and HVAC
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, painting of walls, piping, floors and equipment
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades to maintenance operations and opportunities for savings
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as assigned
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe conditions and perform preventative maintenance
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems as assigned
• Perform carpentry and snow removal as needed
