Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Maintenance Tech to support operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial properties and industrial systems. You will service building equipment, assist with installation and modifications, and help maintain safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word

Responsibilities

Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems (packing, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, and HVAC).
Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint walls, piping, floors and equipment.
Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as assigned.
Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions; perform preventive maintenance.
Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems; participate in on-call duties.
